Tepesch tossed 115 pitches, a career high for the righty, in 7 1/3 innings, striking out nine and walking four. Reyes fanned four and walked none in 1 2/3 perfect frames of relief as he earned the save.

Myrtle Beach’s bats came to life when Brett Nicholas doubled in a pair of runs in the sixth inning.
Tepesch entered the game with a 4.86 ERA in seven starts. He fired seven-plus innings of no-hit baseball with four walks and nine strikeouts, and fired 115 pitches, with 68 being called for strikes.
The righty retired the first 11 Blue Rocks he faced, six of them going down on strikes before he issued a walk to Brian Fletcher in the fourth.

- The losing pitcher in the game was a former Mizzou signee who elected to go pro, Jason Adams of Blue Valley Northwest HS.
- Former Tiger Brett Nicholas was the offensive star of the game, but he was the first baseman, not the catcher, for Tepesch's no-hitter.
